PETROFAC IFTAR
AT REPTON SCHOOL 2014
AT REPTON SCHOOL 2014
Absolutely fantastic iftaar! Petrofac's iftaar hosted at Repton School was such a great event: 1000 delighted men, truly lovely volunteers, tons of presents, prizes & delicious food, it couldn't have been better.
Huge thank you to Petrofac's marvelous team, especially amazing Dece Claverie, who had done a fab job of co-ordinating everything from their end. Petrofac sponsored the iftaar meals, transportation for the men, the clean-up crew (who joined us and were a part of the festivities throughout) and the gorgeously-wrapped prizes from Sweet Surprises.
Huge thank you to Repton School for generously donating its beautiful premises to host all of us and to its team who went out of their way to ensure it be a smoothly flowing, great evening. Nandos & Fine Hygienic Paper, your teams rock and thank you for the amazing, very generous presents for the men! Nandos also generously donated100 phone cards as prizes too! Thank you Nivea and Nestle also for your super, generous presents for the men, they were all so thrilled! Kellogs, your generous donation of nutribars is such a useful, yummy treat for them. Heidi Chef Solutions, we had your yummy donations of chocolates and sweets decorating the tables and they were devoured! Naia from Naiarico.com, we'd randomly hidden the gorgeous t-shirts/clothing you'd given under their chairs and announced at the end that there were surprises for them to keep under the lucky chairs. They loved the beautiful packaging just as much as the clothes! Kim from Procter & Gamble, thank you for providing the Crest toothpaste that were included in the goodie bags. Rajeev from STS, thank you for co-ordinating all the buses so perfectly and for being so sweet. Biryany Kebab, your team were extremely helpful and your Kashmiri chai was yummmy. Thank you Corporate Wellness for providing the First-Aider volunteers: sweet Razina & Fatima. Very special thanks to gorgeous Mina Liccione who is always busy spreading happiness under her incredible Clowns Who Care initiative but had her sleeves rolled up, helping out and bringing her special brand of joy yesterday with us.
As for ALL of the volunteers including from the companies & Repton School, WOW!!! You guys are the nicest bunch of people imaginable!!! You made the event come alive in exactly the spirit we had wished for: an evening with friends
There were some very talented photographers there, Bernhard Sperling & Justin Sajan who captured the evening, including Kumar from Cool Balloons-UAEs' adorable mascots. They took these pics.
Last but definitely not least, huge thanks to the AAC Family, love each one of you beautiful, extremely hard-working people, including our newest addition, wonderful Louise. You guys always come together to make events like this so magical, especially our lovely Sarah, my angel assistant whom I'd be so proud to have as a daughter, who works tirelessly to make all these dreams come true. The camp bosses called the next morning & said that the men had the best time of their lives in the years they've been here. Thank you so much for giving them that. Saher.
